Crochet away

Finally I've learnt how to do something other than squares! Someone on MSE linked to a blog with the loveliest patterns on and YouTube links to the stitches used. As a leftie, following videos of stitches normally confuses the hell out of me but this one was nice and slow and really worked for me (I would link to it but I can't from my iPad)

Anyway, I've made two pairs of fingerless gloves since Wednesday and a matching snood. The snood was partially made up as I went along and I added a crochet pull cord to get her it all in. My youngest daughter has claimed this and is sure she'll come home with orders from her friends at school tomorrow.
