Home made yumminess

The smells in this house of late have been amazing. 

 

Apples stewing.

 

 

Apples straining.

 

 

Apple chilli jam, sweet and hot.  Just the right kick.

 

 

The colour this turns out always astounds me.

 

 

And then properly dressed and ready to share.

 

 

Next on the list was elderberry wine, we found loads.

 

 

Blackberries too

 

 

First to the demijohn though was damson wine.  The juice was used for wine, the fruit pulp has made the most tasty jam going.

 

 

Lots more berries to forage, lots more wine to make and judging by the still green tomatoes on my plants, lots of green tomato chutney to make too!
