My intention with this blog was to show off all the lovely things I make.....the reality is that a. I hardly seem to make anything lately and b. I keep forgetting to take pictures of the things I do!
All in all a bit of a hopeless blogger!
So where are we......
Someone on Freecycle gave me an old wooden Noahs ark, it was obviously a much loved toy that some Grandad had slaved over in his garden shed some years ago....it was dented and battered and painted every shade of gloss paint you could imagine......it's been languishing in the utility room for months waiting for a sunny day (or 3) and it's finally been finished....
Problem is I've not taken any photos yet! And a small child has relocated my camera card reader!
So you'll just have to imagine the vision that is a wooden ark, painted in creams and browns with a very small selection of animals awaiting a few more ship mates (just as soon as I can find some I like).
Whilst your imaginations are working so well, perhaps you'd like to take a look at the blanket I'm crocheting....pretty isn't it? Again - one day - camera/card reader/inspiration permitting, I'll get a picture on here.....promise!
In other news.....we've had a hell of a time lately with our neighbours, not a nice couple as it goes....it's a hassle we don't need at the moment and luckily we're only renting this house and it was only ever meant to be a "stop-gap" until we understood where hubbies disability was going......we've now got the deposit and the understanding of what we need for the future so we're off to start viewing some suitable places next week.
Fingers crossed we find our forever home and I can start really getting my teeth into making it ours.
One picture to leave on though.....our newest addition, George.....he's still here, he's still purring away and still loves his beanbag.......such a hard life eh?

Hello George! He's very sweet :) Love the sound of the Noah's Ark- you sound busy! Hope the househunting goes really well. xxx
