It's been so long since I updated here. Last time was to say we'd found the house of our dreams, this time is to say we've finally got a moving date! We exchanged contracts yesterday and will have the keys on 2nd September!!!
There's been so many delays and problems up and down the chain and it looked like the chain was about to fall apart but one estate agent has gone above and beyond to get things sorted.
The timing could have been better as the girls go back to school the next week but we'll cope. Have booked the new flooring people to come do their magic which gives me 2 days to get all the carpets up and out and the floors ready!!!! Eeek!
In the waiting time I've been fiddling with a few bits of furniture which I'll have to show you another time.
Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly and next time I post we'll be in and cosy!
