The house is amazing, we love, love, love it. More of that later (my laptop died and now it's back up and running I need to transfer photos of our lovely forever home and the things we've done to it so far)
We've also had a few new additions to the family. There's an awful lot of skiddy paws and purry cuddles happening in this house now (we wont mention the depleted wildlife of the area but I no longer have a mouse issue)
Let me introduce you to the new kittens - Jasper, a ginger male and Matilda (Tilly) the tabby girl.
Barnaby - The long haired ginger boy (showing Jasper who's boss)
And finally, Little Miss Fluffy Draws herself - Talulah (Lulah)
Barnaby is a year old, he's Maine Coon and needed to be rehomed due to family issues - he'd always been an indoor cat but he's loving his new found freedom and adores being groomed (which is just as well as he's a slug magnet - blugh!!)
The three younger kittens, Jasper, Tilly and Lulah were from a local rescue centre - they'd been found with a group of 20 cats on a builing site in London, all the cats had medical issues and most had to be put down but these three were reasonably healthy and needed a new home fast. We'd promised the girls a kitten each when we'd settled in the new house and gave the sanctuary a call when the time was right - Yes, they had 2 male kittens in (I've always had male cats) so we trotted off for a look. They didn't tell us that Lulah was needing a new home too and one look at her just told us that we couldn't split the threesome up (it later transpired that what we thought was Oscar - the tabby was in fact Matilda - the tabby!!) We took them home the same day, they were the most nervous kittens I've ever experienced but time and patience have prevailed and we now have the most amazingly mischeivious bundles of fluff.
So six cats - yes, we are mad but they're worth it.
