Hexi-blindness

Years ago I got the hexi-patchwork bug after watching my Mum create all kinds of wonderous things...one day a friend of Dad's was visiting and he asked Mum why she spent hours cutting up bits of fabric, just to sew them all back together again......They just don't understand!!!

My first ambitious project ended after a few months as I just got plain bored of doing it - it got passed to an Aunt who was going to "finish it off" and I never saw it again.

This time round I've taken my time, when I've got bored (or really sore fingers from all the sewing), it's been packed away to be rediscovered at a later time...I've got enough hexis cut to make a throw for my bed.....but this is as far as it's got for now....I shall finish it this year.......or maybe next year.....or maybe the year after....but it will get done!

It will.....honest.
