There's something very pleasing about wandering out into the garden and bringing back a bowl of freshly picked yummies. I just wish those strawberries tasted as good as they look...the larger ones are sweet and juicy, the small ones are like the sourest of sweets...you know they'll make you pull funny faces but you just have to go back for more.
A rare glimpse of this years peas.....Our peas have been a bit of a "non event" this year, didn't help that we were eating them from the pods before they even reached the kitchen....mind you - that's what it's all about!
